Tuition: $40/month for four 30-minute lessons, one day each week ($10.00/lesson)
Tuition is due the first lesson of every month.
Lesson books are not included in the tuition. If you need lesson books they can be bought at a store, on-line or from the teacher.
Missed lessons: You will be charged for “No-show” lessons. (missed lessons without notifying the teacher.) please call At least 7 hours in advance if you are not able to make it to your lesson. You will not be charged if the teacher misses a lesson, or you call in advance. If you can’t make it to your lesson and would like to reschedule please call. “No-shows” will not be rescheduled.
Weekly lessons: be sure to bring your music and a learning attitude. Remember you are paying for your lesson time. Your lesson will be at the same time each week unless another time is agreed upon by you and your teacher.
Arrive on time to your lesson. Starting late will shorten your lesson time.
Practicing: You should plan to practice 5-6 days a week for 20 minutes or until you have practiced every thing on your weekly list, whichever comes first. I recommend that you spend five minutes on each topic/song on your list.
For students, especially younger students, it is not how much time you practice, it is that you practice every day effectively to build good practicing habits.
